The Department of Aeronautical Engineering desires to give a broad multi-disciplinary education in the field of aviation, space exploration and development of aircraft. The Department believes that the knowledge gained through practical implementation is more valued, thereby provides competitive and vibrant academic program to produce technologists and professionals for national and global needs. The Department aims to prepare the young engineers to become globally competent technocrats in the areas of aeronautical and aerospace engineering disciplines with practical orientation.

  • 4 year UG course – B.E. Aeronautical Engineering

  • The programme imparts engineering knowledge in Thermodynamics, Aerodynamics, Control systems, Propulsion, Avionics and Space dynamics.
  • The Department provides a congenial environment for learning, reinforced with the principles of Aeronautical Engineering, promoting creativity and nurturing teamwork.
  • The Department has well equipped laboratories such as Propulsion Laboratory, Aero Engine and Airframe Laboratory, Aerodynamics Laboratory, Aircraft Structures Laboratory, Strength of Materials Laboratory and Fluid Mechanics & Machineries to provide in-depth knowledge.
  • A CESSNA Aircraft is exclusively maintained by the Department to provide an insight and an overview about the aircraft to the students.
